hey there, and welcome back to another month of my thrift finds! each and every month, i highlight my favorite thrift pieces that were purchased throughout the month. thrifting is a great way to add to your wardrobe without breaking the bank, and it's sustainable too! this month i visited two thrift stores, and ended up getting some pretty good stuff (for great prices too.) let’s get into the details, shall we?
first up, we have this van heusen mens white button up. one thing about me when it comes to thrifting is that i will always check the mens section for hidden gems. once i saw this shirt, i knew that it was a must-buy. the quality is amazing, and a white button up is an essential to anyone's closet. believe it or not, this is actually the only one that i have, (yes, it’s long overdue). there are so many ways that this top can be styled, and i'm looking forward to incorporating it into a ton of looks. here i paired it with blue jeans, heels, and a brown hat for a simple yet sophisticated look. the price on this baby? just $5 from goodwill!
for my final favorite find, we have this hampshire studio checkered cardigan. it's giving all of the parisian vibes! what i love most about this piece is the sleeves. they’re somewhere between being a ¾ sleeve and a full sleeve & that is so flattering to me. this cardigan can be worn as a top (as pictured below,) over a dress, or over a sleeveless top. the possibilities are truly endless! it’s lightweight and perfect for the spring time, and for only $5 it was a total steal from st. vincent de paul thrift store! this was my first time visiting (i went to the one on beechmont ave in cincinnati,) & i will definitely be back as the selection of items were amazing!
